About Us

Welcome to Jake's Math Lessons!  My goal with this site is to create a resource for high school and college level calculus students.  These lessons are meant to provide more casual, alternate explanations of the concepts discussed in a typical calculus class.  Working as a college math tutor for three years at the University of Oregon, I learned that this approach can be very effective in helping students learn these concepts.  I encourage comments and emails to me with questions and suggested topics for future lessons, even problems that you would like to see worked through.
